This oil is rich in Omega fats and anti-oxidants like Vitamin E that help to soften, soothe, and protect skin. Hemp seed oil promotes skin health and in fact can be applied directly but is best used to fortify creams and salves like those by Cannabis Basics.
Cannabis Basics CHABA (Cannabis Health & Beauty Aid) products take it up a notch by adding hemp flower infused in olive oil as well as hemp flower extracted with alcohol. Each method provides a different range of cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other beneficial plant-based nutrients, and having the oils from both extractions gives the final product a fuller spectrum of beneficial compounds for your skin and the nerves underneath. Typically, hemp topicals are only made with alcohol extractions, which leaves much of the plant’s therapeutic potential behind.
